Cold War impacted society because the Soviet Union had control of countries.

    It was between the US and Soviet Union and stateliness. Soviet Union's military alliance set up to go against NATO founded in May 1955 by the Soviet Union and stateliness countries. Also the Soviet Union and the stateliness countries ended in 1991. It took place in the U.S. and Europe in 1945-1991. This was was important because it was when NATO was created. NATO/Warsaw Pact impacted politics because the government didn't know if we going to war or not.
