    Marshal Plan
    It was a United State initiative program to aid Europe after WW2. The US ended up giving $13 billion dollars to Europe for recovery.(approximately $130 billion dollars from today's standard). The aid was important to prevent European countries from turning to communism.

    The Berlin Airlift was United State and the UK supplying food and fuel to citizens of west Berlin when the Russians closed off land access to Berlin. It helped change people's thoughts about their government; prevent the spread of communism in Gremany.

    Korean War

    The Korean War began when North Korena invaded South Korea resulting in the life of 2.5 million people. The Soviet Union and China joined the communist Noth Korean to fight against South Korea, United State, and United Kindom. After the loss of Million of combatants, the war finally ends dividing the North Koreans and the South Koreans. The purpose of the war was to prevent Korean from becoming a communist nation.

    The cause of Vietnam war was the idea American had to stop the spread of communism in southeast Asia. They thought that if Vietnam fell to communism other countries around it will do the same thing.
  • Berlin Wall

    Berlin Wall
    The Main purpose of the Berlin Wall was to keep the Western “fascists” from entering East Germany and undermining the socialist state, but it primarily served the objective of creating mass defections from East to West Germany. The Wall stood until November 9, 1989, to end the isolation inside Germany.
