Berlin Blockade/Airlift
The Berlin blockade was the first major crisis in the war.The Soviet Union blocked the Western Allies' important ways of recieving supplies(Guns, supplies, etc.) They blocked Railway, Roads, and their canal. -
Korean War
The Korean War was a war between North and South Korea. United States of America fought for the South, and China fought for the North. We were led by General Eisenhower. -

In the Vietnam War we were fighting against the vietnamese. It was a hard time for people returning from the war because it wasnt really a war. It was called a "Conflict" They were treated with disrespect and they were mistreated. -

The Cuban Missile Crisis was a 13-day confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union concerning Soviet ballistic missiles deployment in Cuba.They thought that the Cubans were gonna launch a massive attack on the US. Their president (dictator) was Fidel Castro. -
Soviet Invasion of Afganistan
The Soviets had launched a war against Afganistan and resulted in a 9 year battle. Insurgent groups fought against the Soviet Army and allied Afghan forces. -
