Kennedy then order a blockade around cuba to stop soviet ships from getting into cuba only for the soviet ships to move right up to the line. in resulted in a deal being struck the soviets would remove the nukes and the US would remove the blockade and the nukes they had set in turkey and to not invade cuba. -
