Berlin Wall is Destroyed
The Berlin Wall was torn down as a symbol of freedom. It was not destroyed entirely on November 9th. People from all over began to come thorughout the week with sledgehammers and other tools to help bring it down. -
The Cold War Ends
Once the Soviet Union was crushed completely, this became the end of the Cold War. There was nothing left to fight for, and it became to leave with no conflict.
