    1.) About 4 million Germans moved from east Berlin to West Berlin, Khrushchev wanted to keep the refugees in the East.
    2.) It was the center of the lives of every persons living in Germany. People were not able to see their families if they were on opposite sides.

    1.) War between North & South Korea that got the US and China involved, and China. North tried to take over South, but was pushed back by the US.
    2.)It was the first limited war and it was the first war in a nuclear age.

    2.) Many people thought that the USSR would bomb us or use some sort of way to wage war on us from space.

    2.) It forced to great nations and super powers to reconsider a nuclear war and also determine that they have to coexist peacefully even though they were enemies.
