A few days later they shot and killed the current Prime Minister, who was trying to lead the country away from a religion based political system (Muslim) (he was communist) The Russians replaced him with one of their leaders, but keeping him in control strictly depened on the troops. America put a ban on rice exports to Russia and boycotted the Olympics being held there the next year.
