    The Berlin Airlift begun to take place June 24, 1948 till May 11, 1949. The USA and the UK helped aided west berlin due to the Marshall Plan. They provided Food, and Oil that they staring dropping in to Allied bases in West Berlin after soviets blocked railroads and the access to water. Analysis: The airlift showed the Soviet Union what the allies would not give up and abonded them.The allies came together and showed what kind of lengths they would go to to still suport them.

    A group of exiles were trained with U.S Support and aid to overthrow Fidel Castro. Although, they did not succed and by the 20th many were captured or dead. A year later in december they were willing to realsethe captured for $53 million in food and medicne. Analyis: This invasion "sparked" the Cuban Missile crisis. Cuba was basically turing into a platform for Russia and there nucular missies. The agreement for them to remove there missles to was remove ours.

    The Berlin wall was a created barrier that divided East and West Berlin by the German Communist goverment in 1961.The East was merly communist, while West was democratic. They put up the wall trying to concel East Germans from fleeing to the west. Although, they entrapped the Western Belgium inside the wall. Analysis: This event was signifigant to the cold war because it divided the country. It was almost like a mini war within the cold war.
