POTSDAM CONFERENCE
These were the nogation terms for the end of World War II. One of the key focuses at this confrence was how to deal with Germany at the time. Another large matter conversed about was the revision of the german-soviet-polish boarders and the removal of several million germans from the disputed taritory. At this confrence was stablished a council of foreign ministers. -
BEGINNING OF COLD WAR
The cold war was between two extreme powers the united states and the USSR. This war was founded after world war II where there was tention between the two. The USSR had consalidated it's control over the states of the eastern bloc., during this time the united states was coming up with a for world wide containment to challenege the soviet power extended millitary and finacial aid was sent to the western part of europe. The first major crisis was the Berlin wall. -
VIETNAM WAR
The vietnam war was founded in the cold war era, this war contained North and south Vietnam. Each side was supported by their own political views north Vietnam was supported by the Soviet Union, China and other communist allies.While South Vietnam was supported by the U.S., Philippines and other anti-communist allies, fought a guerrilla war against anti-communist forces in vietnam. -

THE BERLIN WALL DIVIDED BERLIN FROM 1961-1989 CREATED BY THE GERMANY DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC ALSO KNOWN AS GDR. THIS WALL SEPERATED THE EAST FROM THE WEST. -

During the cuban missile crisis, leaders of the U.S. and the Soviet Union engaged in a tense, 13-day political and military standoff in October 1962 over the A missal placed in cuba just 90 miles from U.S. shores. -
GLASNOT/PERESTROIKA
The Soviet Union was over whelmed with problems, the economey began to fall, especially in the areas of agriculture. The country lacked technological advancements and had uneffecent factories. Perestroika is the reform term for Political and economics astablished by the communist party. Glasnot means openness this term was used for the reform of the social and political reform, this would help restore more rights and freedoms to the soviet people. -
THE FALL OF SOVIET UNION
THE FALL OF THE SOVIET UNION TOOK PLACE IN DECEMBER 1991, TURNING INTO 15 SEPERATE CONTRIES. THE DISMANTIALMENT OF THE SOVIET UNION LED TO THE END OF THE COLD WAR, WITH AMERICAN REJOICING AT THEIR ENEMIES DIMISE. THE SOVIET UNION WAS DOOMED TO FAIL FOR MAJOR REASONS LIKE NOT EVERYONE IS A RUSSIAN AND FORCING OTHER ECHNIC GROUPS INTO A RUSSIAN STATE WASN'T BLOWING OVER TO WELL. ULTIMENTLY THIS LEAD TO THE DECLINE IN THE ECONOMY, POLITICS AND SOCIETY. -
BERLIN BLOCKADE (AIRLIFT)
THE BERLIN BLOCK AID WAS ONE OF THE FIRST MAJOR CRISISES IN THE COLD WAR. THIS WAS WITH GERMANY BLOCKING RAILROADS, ROADS,WATER CANALES AND OTHER MEANS OF TRAINSPORTATION FROM THE WESTERN PART OF BERLIN. BLOCKING OFF AID TO THE WEST.
