Yalta Conference
This conference was a meeting of: Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. They agreed to force Germany to surrender and they also agreed on other things as well but mainly to discuss Germany. Korean War
This was a war between the Northern and Southern parts of Korea. On this day the North attacked the South after a fight at the border. The Domino Theory was a theory created by Dwight D. Eisenhower. It stated that if one country switched from capitalism to communism, neighboring countries would too. The Fall of the Berlin Wall
Ronald Reagan asked Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall. Years later, the announcement was made that the borders were open and people could go through all of Germany.
