Warsaw Pact
The Warsaw Pact is an agreement by the singing countires that they would join thier armed forces together and that the Soviet Union would be in charge. 8 Countries signed the Pact. When West Germany joined NATO, the Soviet Union took this as a threat as East Germany was Communist. This was a reason that the Warsaw Pact was put into place.
