- The purpose of this law was to prevent the dissemination of communist propaganda in Quebec.
- Passed by the Union Nationale government of Maurice Duplessis.
- No printing, publishing or distributing any newspaper, periodical, pamphlet, circular, document or writing that prapagates Communism or Bolshevism.
- Citizens were objecting this because it denied the presumption of innocence and the right of freedom of speech to individuals.
- King chose not to intervene in Quebec.

The fall of the Berlin Wall- Located on the border of west Berlin.
- 155km total in length. Constructed by concrete wall, watchtower and trenches.
- Some Canadians were shot down when trying to escape the East Berlin.
- Canadian government as well as the Western Allies were protesting the built of Berlin Wall.
- Cultural differences slowly occured. The East and West Germen citizens didn't blend very well.
