    This crocodile is the first ever do be discovered. Lived at the eastern part of Asia near swaps and only ate small animals, it has a sail on its back 3ft long and weights about 5-10lbs.

    Looked like modern day crocodiles but were herbivores , they were mistaken to be predators since their facial structure and teeth looks like it crushes bone and tears meat. its weight is about 400kg to 535kg, they lived during the early Jurassic period.

    Erpetosuchus

    This small extinct genus is bipedal and did not resemble modern day crocodiles in behavior and in body shape except its head. First found remains was in Lossiemouth sand stone formation in Scotland. They lived during the Triassic period, these species is only 55 cm long including the skull which is 6.5 cm long weights about 2-3kg.

    Sarcosuchus

    They lived during the middle cretaceous period. They are 40ft long weights around 10-15 tons, its diet is mainly fish and other dinosaurs. They lived in the rivers of Africa.

    Stomatosuchus

    Unlike other crocodilian forms they only feed on plankton and krill, they have a huge pelican like jaw, sizing about 33ft and weighing about 3-4k kg.

    Deinosuchus

    Has a 6ft long skull and lived in the river of North America, they feed on fish and land creatures. Its size is 33ft and weighing about 5k kg. This type of crocodile species looks similar to our modern crocodile. Lived during the late Cretaceous period.

    Champsosaurus

    5ft long and weighs 25-50 pounds, ate only fish and lived in the rivers of north America and western Europe, this type of crocodile had a long narrow profile and a studded snout. They survived the K/T extinction.

    This is the modern day crocodile that survived the Cretaceous-Paleogene Extinction Event. includes the salt water crocodiles, Nile crocodile and the American variants, they are spread around the world and they have adapted to its conditions, our modern complex and evolved crocodile looks prehistoric but it still has its ancestors killing abilities.

    This specimen was 9ft long and weights 500 pounds, Eats only red meat which they hunted in the woodlands. They have long curved teeth and long legs.

    Crocodylus thorbjarnarsoni

    Has a very large skull and a small raised rim in front of the eyes, they most likely prayed humans , it lived Turkan basin in Kenya this crocodile is know to be the largest of its kind weighing around 3-5k kg and sizes about 9m long.
