    Women dressed like they were in the 1800s at this time. Their daily wear was long skirts, long sleeved, high necked shirts, and high button shoes.

    They had a more heavy material then. They wore slacks and suits mostly. The men also had a high collar like the women in this time period. Although this collar was detachable.

    http://www.life123.com/Unlike the year 1900 in 1910 the fabrics of their clothes were a lot more light and less stuffy. The men still had the high collar. Their fashion didn't really change between 1900 and 1910.

A lot of younger men wore baggy trousers instead of dressing like their elders. Suites were also a lot simpler now. Their clothes reflected brightness and music.

    Some men started to wear unusual clothing like baggy knee high shorts. Those were known as "Plus Fours". They wore that with a round- necked school boy sweater.When attending something formal, men would wear a classic three piece suite with a tie. They also would wear a grandpa styled hat.

    This was a decade of great depression. So women didn't dress very exciting they kind of dressed sad or blan. They wore floor length evening gowns. Most things were pretty simple. They also wore loose silhouettes.

    The men's style did change very much from the decade before (1930s). Although it still remained classic. Shoulders in suites and shirts were more natural. Sriped suites for men were in too.

    Women at this time started to work more in factories and industries. So women would dress more factory like almost. Most of the men were in World War 2 so the women had to take over their jobs.

    Men wore a lot more different styles at this time. A buisness guy would wear a dark flannel suit. Younger men would be seen wearing a white t- shirt, jeans and a leather jacket.

    Women started wearing clothing that had floral print on them. Like longish floral print skirts. Also more designs they wore were stripes and polka dots. They woore either pencil skirts or big flowing skirts. Women also started to wear pants more than skirts because they were a lot more comfortable.

    Everyone in the sixties were sick and tired of rules. This was the hippi decade. They wanted something new. The young were the leaders of fashion. They wore way more colorful clothes and even colors that clash. They wore clothes with many different patterns. Also clothing did depend on race too.

    Like with the man... women didn't like rules any more. They created their own style and therefor they were the creators of fashion. They wore various patterns and this was the hippi time too. They wore brighter colors that even may have clashed. A lot of their clothes revealed mroe. Like the mini skirt.

    This ofcourse was the disco period. They wore three peice disco suits, leisure suits, and loud/ colorful shirts. A lot of them wore gold chains too. But also during this time was a fashion disaster, a stretchy polyester jacket with matching trousers.
