What are the risks and cost of climbing Mount Everest? -
At 10:00 the expedition started the climbing.
The teams set off early on May 10th. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather. -

A rule on the Mount Everest for safety. 2:00 pm
It is a rule on the Mount Everest that at 2:00 pm you are to turn around and return to camp 4 in order to make it back before dark and avoid weather near the summit. -
Massive snowstorm. 3:00 pm
Suddenly, at 3:00 pm a massive snowstorm started. -
The teams were trapped on the mountain at 10:00 pm
By 10:00 pm that night, people from both groups were trapped on the mountain in between the summit and camp 4 because of the storm. -
Some climbers survived.
Some climbers managed to survive the freezing cold -
Some climbers were rescued.
The next day some climbers were rescued. -
Some climbers collapsed and died.
However, on May 11 a few others collapsed and died in snow. -
8 died.
In total, eight people died on Mount Everest's deadliest day.
