Geronimo had a band of Apaches that terroized the territory. They eventually surrender at Skeleton canyon. -

A custom of Native American tribes, Believed to unite spirts of the dead with the living. -
Wounded Knee Massacre
Last Battle of American Indian War. Close to 300 people died. Indians involved were the Lakota.
