    Eva Farley became the first female officer for the DPD

  • DPD Acquires Automobiles

    the DPD acquired an automobile and two motorcycles.

  • Klu Klux Klan

    In the early 1900's the KKK practically controlled the DPD, having a little more then 100 members operating the DPD.

  • JD Tippit Murder

    40 minutes after JFK was assented, Lee Harvey Oswald killed officer JD Tippit who was apart of the DPD.

  • Murder of Santos Rodriguez

    Darrell L. Cain and Roy Arnold were investigating a burglary, from a vending machine Santos Rodriguez was taken from his home and to the scene of the crime. where officer Cain pointed what he thought was a unloaded gun at Santos, he pulled the trigger and killed the twelve year old.

  • Ronald Jones beating

    Dallas police officers received a tip that two white men were fighting in the downtown area. Failing to locate the described men, Officer Antkowiak discovered a black man crossing the street. This man was innocent but the police falsified chargers after they mercilessly beat him.
