    Abolished slave trade in Washington D.C., the Fugitive slave act required citizens to apprehend run away slaves. They ruined the Missouri Compromise by choosing to be free states which lead to the bleeding Kansas because if you let one state choose the rest are going to want to choose

    Used to describe the violence of the settling in Kansas the state had to chose to be a slave state or a free state. Violence Eruputed when people came in to infulence the chose, so people fought of to control the choice
