Fort Sumter

Apr 12, 1861

Charlestown harbor South Carolina. Generals Robert Anderson, P.G.T beagurad. Union 80 troops confedrate 500 troops. Anderson didn't have enough amo so he didn't fire for the 1st two hours of battle. Anderson moved his 80 troops to Fort Sumter. Beagurad had fisrt shot. Beagurad kept shooting for no reason. Over all confedrate won the war. April 12-14 1861

Bull run

Jul 21, 1861

Fair fox county and prince William county, Virginia. Generals Irvin McDowell Joseph e Johnston P.G.T beuagurd. Union 28,450 troops confedrate 32,230 troops. Confedrate wounded 1,582 troops total troops who are hurt or dead 1,982. Union wounded 1,124 total troops who are hurt or dead 2,896. Lincoln pushed the union to fight the confedrate. But confedrate still won.

Monitor vs Merrimack (Hampton roads)

Hamptons roads, Virgina March 8-9 1862 union had 1,400 troops the confedrate had 188 troops. Union had about 396 troops either wounded or dead. The confedrate had about 24 troops either wounded or dead. Generals John L wooden Franklin Buchanan. Over all the was was inconclusive.

Richmond

Antietam
