The Indian Removal act was created by Andrew Jackson to remove indians from land other U.S people wanted to obtain. -
The trail of Tears was an act where Indians were forcefully removed from their land in Michigan Louisiana and Florida -
Tribes were separated into different teams both Union and Confederate. Or also Known as North and Southern states South fought with north for slaves and resources as they knew they had more materials. -
The goal was focused on bringing South states back into political participation in the Union. As well as gave rights to slaves. -
The act provided an allotment of lands from the indians. It was aimed to assimilate Natives into U.S territory and society. This impacted their land and cultural ship. -
This act was a rush into Oklahoma taking away lands from past Indians and their territory and created Oklahoma Territory, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole. -
This Act gave more freedom to indians and better control over their land. Indians go a better chance at freedom and also ended allotment of tribal lands.
