Plessy vs. Ferguson
Plessy vs. Ferguson was the court case that decided that blacks and whites were seperate but equal under the law. Plessy was a octoon and in Louisiana was considered black. This made the fact that he was sitting in a white train car illegal and his case sparked segregation. -
End of the White Primary
Primus E. King was denied his consitutional right to vote and brought it to court. After working its way up to the Supreme Court and being denied, it led to the end of the abolishment of the poll tax and the White Primary. -
Brown vs. Board of Education
Brown vs. the Board of Education is famous for ending segregation in schools.Oliver Brown's child in Kansas was not granted admission to a white school. The schools were not equal, and therefore unconstitutional. -
