Linda Brown was not able to attend a school for whit echildren in walking distance from her home. Instead she had to take the bus to a black school across town. So her father sued the Board of Education and won, outlawing school segregation. -

9 black children enrolled in an all-white school resulting in an extreme uprising in the white community. -

A group of black protest leaders driving from Washington D.C in buses encountered problems with the KKK including being beat up and having their bus lit on fire. -

After a community of blacks were forced out of a church while praying a man named Jimmie Lee Jackson. -

On a march to the statehouse in Alabama blacks were stopped by state troopers and beat. -

14 Days after bloody sunday another huge march was commencing for voting rights. -
