Boycotts
The colored people of Montgomery, Alabama, started to boycott city busses in order to make a point about how they shouldn't have to sit in the back of the bus. -

The Freedom Riders where a group of people (Black, and White) who decided that they wanted to try to spreed good word and not be around segregration. -

Rosa Parks was a women who was sitting on the bus after a long day at work and was told by a white man to get up and move so he could sit there. She said no that she was tired and didn't want to move. She stood up for herself in a time where it was very scary to do so.
