    White citezens in America were segregating African Americans for them for the race. The were protesting by; dropping out of school, having them call the police for no reason, and many other acts of crulness.

    Rosa Parks on her way home on a normal day, had no thought that she would have been arrested later that night. On her way home from work riding the bus, another white passenger boarded the bus. He told Parks to get of of his seat. Parks denied, the man called the cops and got Rosa arrested.

    Black citezens in America were having a boycott from rifing the buses. This boycott lasted for over a year and bus drivers lost more than have of their money. Many civilians donated supplies to the marchers inculding; shoes, clothes, food, and water.

    The sit ins were created for the African Americans to show that they didnt care about segregation. They would go into the rooms for whites only and basically, sit in. They did this to protect their freedoms from segregation.

    Malcolm X organized a protest in 1963. That protest was about him saying the fact that their freedom can't wait! That meant that they were not going to wait to get their freedom any longer. They were tired of being pushed around by the whites, and they took a stand!

    This was a very important day in history. This was important because this event led to the end of segregation. Not only blacks, but also whites were participating in this march. This march attended up to almost 250,000 people on the March on Washington.

    Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested over twenty-five times. He was arrested for either protesting peachfully or marching on the streets. Matin Luther King Jr. was one of the most important activists during this event. Matin Luther King Jr. was awarded the nobel peace prize a few years later.

    Martin Luther King Jr. was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize from what he did during the Civil Rights Movement. The Nobel Peace Prize is a great achievement for anybody. This was one of Martin Luther Kings great acomplishments.

    Martin Luther King Jr. One of the greatest Civil Rights Movement activists was killed at the site were he was giving a speech. He was shot to death by a sniper rifle. They shot him multiple times even after he was all ready dead. It was a very devastating day for the Civil Rights Movement.
