The Bus boycotts helped to dessegregate busses so they no longer had to sit in the back or give their seat up to any white person that wanted their seat -

The sit ins desegregated lunch counters so that colored people could sit at the counters in diners -
freedom rides
the freedome rides took place when the boycotts ended. the freedom riders were a group of white and black people who rode the busses to see if they could ride the bus route without being harmed. The riders were beaten at multiple stops -
