  • brown vs. board of education

    The supreme court decided to desegergate schools to where black and white childern were put into the same schools and was considered unconsitutinol if they werent.

  • Montgomery bus boycott

    During this time african americans and whites were segergated on the bus. The whites were able to sit at the front of the bus while the blacks had to sit at the back. The blacks believed that they should be able to sit where ever they wanted so they started boycotting the bus and after 11 months they desegaated the buses

  • March on Washington

    The march on washington was a calumonating event in the civil rigths movement 250,000 people listened to the speeches in Washington DC about civil rights. Martin luther king JR delivered his "i have a dream speech ".
