Magna Carta
Magna Carta is a famous document wrote by King John of England. It says that everyone, including the king is subject to the law. The 1225 version, by Henry III, remain on the statute book today. It is sometimes used to restrain the power of monarchs today. It is a document of historical and legal significance. -
Sugar Act
The sugar act put 3 cent taxes on sugar being imported. -
Tea Act
During the Tea Act American colonists could only buy tea from the East Indian Company because they werent doing good and the britsh wanted to give them business. The colonists got mad because they seen this as Taxation without representation so they refused to unload tea from the ships. -
