  • Inductive Chargers (Wireless charging)

    Inductive Chargers or better known as wireless charging was introduced primarily in cell phones. Since then many wearable products (apple watches or even Bluetooth headphones) have adapted this feature. You may even see it in new cars, where there is a wireless charging area on the dash of the vehicle. It was invented in 2009, but didn't really become popular till about 2015, when Samsung used it in one of their new phones.
  • Smart Home Devices (Google home and Alexa)

    Amazons smart devices using "Alexa" was released in 2014.
    Google released the google home in 2016 following in Amazons path.
    These devices can be linked with a lot of different things these days. Including light switches, outlets, lighting features, phones, computers, and many other things. They are great if you like automating certain things in your life and can be a useful accessibility tool in your home.
  • Oculus (VR Headset)

    The Oculus started out as a Kickstarter and has now become one of the leading VR headset companies. You can connect it through your computer and run programs through a popular gaming site called steam. You also have the option of having content downloaded to your account to access through the headset.
    VR is coming a long way since it's early days and allows users to play games in a virtual reality.
  • Nintendo Switch

    Nintendo has always been one of the top gaming console companies, the newest console released from Nintendo has been the Switch line. Now with 3 different switch options Nintendo has found their new form. The switch has been successful in releasing a console that is both great as a stand alone console or for playing on the go.
  • Steam Deck

    The steam deck is similar to the Nintendo switch in that it provides the portability of gaming. The Steam deck allows it's users to play select games they would normally be able to play on their desktop computer through their steam account.
