    First developed by two brother Thomas and John Knoll in 1987. Released by Adobe for Mac users in 1990 as a way to digitally edit photos before publication. Originally priced at $895. Today a subscription for Adobe Photoshop costs roughly 20 dollars a month.

    First released in December of 1994. The development was meant as a platform where 3rd party developers can create applications for the console instead of games being released only by the parent company.

    Initially nicknamed BackRub, Google was created in 1996 as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Majority of search engines up to then ranked results based on the number of times the searched term appeared on the page. Google returns results based on ranking relevance to the searched term.

    DVD's were invented in 1995 and released in 1996 in Japan. DVD's were a way to store and distribute large forms or data and had much more capacity than a Compact Disk.

    The origin of the flash music player is uncertain from the wide range of contributors, though the MP3 was able to be created due to a standardization in digitized audio files. The first mass production of a flash storage music player was released in South Korea in 1997.
