Friendster. was the beginning to the social media boom that we experience today. In 2003, myspace also was introduced, and was the first social media platform that appealed to young adults. MySpace in the 2000's is what FaceBook is today. It combined music, music videos and a feature filled environment that allowed young people to connect not only with each other, but with their favourite celebrities and musicians. -
