    -Percecuted pepole by trapping them in an arean and having soldirs kill them
    - Banned all of the Pagan practices from the Olympics
    -He wanted to rebuild the army in Thessalonica
    -He wanted to make peace with the barbarians

    Constantine the Great
    Constatine the Great was a Roman emporor who ruled in between 336 and 337 AD. Thi emporor is the one who brought religous freedom to the Roman empire. Born in Nassius he was the son of a Roman officer and a Greek woman. Living most of his life a pagan, Constatine conerted to Christanity after he saw a vision of how he would win in the battle of Milvain bridge. After that he decided to introduce a law called the Edict of Milan which abolished the procecution of different religous practices.

    The Edict of Milan was a document signed by Roman emperors Constantine and Licinius that abolished the torture of Christians.
    -Licinius eventually turned on Constantine because he desired full control over the Roman Empire
    -Constantine defeated Licinius in a battle, further proving that God was on his side
    -After Constantine gained complete leadership, he built a new city in the east called Constantinople; it was filled with churches and dedicated to the Christian God

    In the battle of Mllivan Bridge held the more important event, The Vision of Constetine. The night before the battle, Constetine had a vision in which he was told to put the holy symbole on the fronts of his mens shields. To depict the mark of Christ and his heavanly figure and then he will prospare in the battle the day after. He did this and the next day surely enough he was victorious.

Christians had always been subject to discrimination in the Roman empire, but no previous emperors needed to put some laws against them

    When the Emperor Nero set the merchants shops and Circus Maximus on fire the Roman people were enraged. They wanted to overthrow Nero and have him executed. His vision was to destroy Rome and rebuild it in his image. In a desprate meaning of escape Nero blamed the already hated Christan people, saying that they were the ones who set Rome on fire. This brought Christanity popularity down and a couple of the promonent leaders of Christanity in Rome were torutred into admitting it was them.

    Perpetua
    Perpetua was a Christian woman who got arrested by and Emperor named Septimius for taking different classes preparing for baptism. Her father, went into the prison and asked her to revert back to her old religion, but Perpetua did not accept the offer. Because of this, Perpetua was put in front of lions and leopards in the arena, and was quickly killed.
