    Sui Dynasty

    The Sui Dynasty had two Emperors in its ruling time. the Sui build many Canals connecting the north and south of China (584-589), this could have influenced today's water transportation. Along with this they build man roads, palaces, and other public projects costing a lot of money and lives((607). All of these interconnecting transportation systems made southern china economically interdependent. The emperors were then overthrown by huge revolts in china.

    T'ang Dynasty

    during the rein of the T'ang Dynasty, there were six rulers. Among these rulers was a women named Empress Wu, she was the first female who took the power upon herself and became the only female emperor in Chinese history(609). During the rest of the duration of this Dynasty churches were built and Buddhism started to be written in Chinese(640-647). some of the greatest poets and artists lived during this Dynasty. The T'ang were soon overthrown by a rebellion(875-884).

    Song Dynasty

    The song dynasty was known for its defensive policies. In the song dynasty was the era of entrepreneurship, development of crops and technologies, creation of careers, and lifestyles. This could have been the start of our now technological advantages. starting in 1127 the song dynasty was put under attack, and in 1232 southern song allied with mongols to destroy jin after beijing was captured by them in 1215. during these times explosives were used for the first time.

    Yuan Dynasty

    Kublai (emperor at the time) sent many fleets against Japan to rebuke reluctant leaders. This is an example of some kind of protest in our world today. The mongols rebuilt the Grand Canal and extended it to Beijing.

    Ming Dynasty

    Taizu (the emperor of Ming) was the first commoner to become emperor in 1500 years. the Ming never captured the mongol leader thus limiting them from expanding their empire into inner asia. Taizu had policies that also favored the poor over the rich. There are many people like Taizu today, they feel as if the government is unfair to those who did not grow up with money given to them. the Ming emperor commited suicide after rebels took Beijing(1644)

    Qing Dynasty

    (1840-1842) The Opium war occurred ending with the Nanjing Treaty which gave Hong Kong to Great Britain. This could have influenced Great Britain to create more treaties to grant them more land and could have eventually influenced all the rest of the world to do so. In 1850-1864 There was a peasant who was a christian convert to claimed himself to be the son of heaven (a younger brother of Christ) this could have caused for religion dispute, and could have caused for pointing fingers.
