Paper was made by the Chinese by, cutting bamboo, then soaking, then dipped a screen in pulp, and lastly they pressed and dried it. Paper was in mass production because of how important it was to people. -

A compass helped sailors with voyages. They were pieces of a magnetic mineral called lodestone. -

The Chinese invented a technique called woodblock printing. The printer first drew characters (letters) on paper. Then, glued the paper to a block. When the glue dried, the printer carved out the wood around the characters, which left characters raised on the wood. -

The first weapon that the Chinese used with their gunpowder invention was a flamethrower. Early, when they first made the flamethrowers, they were powered by gunpowder and oil. They used them for war or attacking other people / countries. -

This invention was found on accident by Alchemists experimented with mixtures of natural ingredients. They were trying to find a substance to help people live forever and trying to make things that were not gold into gold. Neither worked but instead they accidentally created gunpowder. -

Rocket technology was developed in China during the Song Dynasty. Rockets were powered by a black powder made of saltpeter, charcoal, and sulfur. At first, rockets were used only in fireworks but later used as weapons.
