    The Chinese created tea! Not very surprising considering how tea is wildly popular in China but it is still very cool. Tea started in ancient China and soon evolved in trade making tea revolutionary.
  • Mechanical clock

    Mechanical clock

    The mechanical clock was created by the Chinese to keep track of time more effectively. It wasn't easy but soon they created a clock that makes one complete turn every 24 hours. The clock worked by drops of water keeping count and bells alerting people what time it was.

    The Chinese created what is known as the most common currency today, paper money. The money was made to be in multiple different colors.

    Rockets in China were built out of saltpeter, charcoal, and sulfur. They originally were meant for celebration creating what we know today as a firework. Soon the Chinese realized that the rockets could be used as weapons so they launched them into battle.

    The Chinese invented the first printer. Indeed it was not like what we have today but it worked well. The process was not easy The printer first drew characters on paper, then glued the paper to a wooden block. finally when the glue was dry, the printer carved out the wood around the characters, leaving the characters raised on the wood.

    If making printers wasn't enough, the Chinese create moveable printers. These printers were extremely helpful and easy to use. The printers were made out of clay and could easily be removed and reset.
