    In Ancient Chinese History, the Xia Dynasty was the first dynasty.The Xia people inhabited mostly in the western area of Henan province and southern Shanxi Province. The Xia dynasty was the first to cast bronze for a to build a strong army. It had used oracle bones and calendars.

    The Shang Dynasty

    The Shang Dynasty
    In Chinese history, the Shang Dynasty is the second dynasty. The Shang dynasty led to new numerous cultural advances. Some examples are they industrialized bronze castings, the calendar, writing and other religious rituals. Tang was the first king's name. He made people start working for his country, not his pleasure. For about 600 years the men helped build a stable environment. They lost a mandate in heaven.

    Zhou Dynasty

    Zhou Dynasty
    This is the third dynasty and it lasted the longest. The Zhou dynasty was separated into two periods. Western Zhou (1046-711 BC) and Eastern Zhou (770-256 BC). The Zhou capital was moved East where it was safe from invading countries. At the end of the Dynasty there was a intellectual and artistic awakening.

    Christianity
    Nestorian Stele also known as the stone stele, was made in the late 700s. Records how Christianity came to China. The inscription on the stele says that a Christian delegation arrived in China in 635. Dressed in white, and carrying scriptures and icons of Christ and the Virgin Mary. Emperor Taizong greeted the Christians and ordered the scriptures to be translated.

    Confucius
    Confucius was a Chinese philosopher taught about political disorder. He used morale and ethical leadership to fix social unrest and concerns of political unrest. He came with the idea that every one has a certain role in their society. Second he said the government and leaders should show high morale.

    Warring States Period
    Besides incessant warfare, and probably because of it, the period saw significant developments in society, commerce, agriculture, philosophy, and the arts, setting the foundations for the subsequent flourishing of Imperial China. The slower and more organised battles of yesteryear where chariots were used in large numbers and the infantry were deployed in a more predictable manner now gave way to a much more dynamic battlefield.

    During China's Warring States the school of Chinese philosophy known as Legalism attained prominence. Philosopher Hanfeizi had such an influence on Legalism it formed ideological basis of China's first imperial dynasty, The Qin.

    The text Laozi wrote was said to be the Daodejing which became an important Daoist work. People who followed Daoist teachings affirmed the Way an indescribable force that is the source of all that exists. A major theme in the Daodejing is that yielding is better than being assertive. They thought that human actions upset the natural order.

    The Silk Road was a network of trade routes, formally established during the Han Dynasty of China, which linked the regions of the ancient world in commerce. The silk road did not begin tradin but expanded many peoples' horizons on trade.The silk road affected Africa and Eurasia. Everything is increasing price through the silk road.
