    Shang cities had palaces and temples. People who lived during the Shang Dynasty, as jobs, people would be carvers, metal workers, or would build things. During the Shang Dynasty the people of shang made bronze weapons which became very popular.

    In 1046bc the Zhou people defeated the Shang in the battle of Mu Ye. There was three kings of Zhou who made the state strong. They were "Wen" He made tribes. "King Wu", he led an army who crushed the Shang. "The Duke" He extended the Zhou territories.

    551bc-479bc, Confucius was a important man. He was apart of many of meeting between many men. He was born in Lu, northeast china. He tried to persuade people to do good. He tried to get people to accept the traditional things. He Encouraged learning from Zhou books. Confucius traveled to find another ruler to try to change their ways. But had not succeed.
