When the Soviet Union supported the PRC they feel below the Chinese expectaions. This cause the Sino-Soviet border confilict. -

The Cultural Revolution was when Mao gathered the children and teens of China to rebel against their parents and teachers. -
President Nixon visits China
This event marked an important step in the U.S relationship with the Peoples Republic of China. It was the first time a U.S. president had visited there. At this time China and the U.S were not allies. -
Mao Dies and so does the Cultural Revolution.
In 1976 Mao, the leader of the cultural revoltuion, died and that marked the end of the revolution. -
