Yuan Shikai Rule
Yuan Shikai became military dictator of China from 1912 to 1915.
He left unresolved the issues of the Double Tenth Revolution in 1911. This led to the separation of China and the emergence of the Guomindang movement in the south.
In 1916, he declared himself emperor. -
