The toddler begins using bound morphemes in one to two word utterances. -
Three Years Old
The toddler uses more adult like langauges with utterances being three or more words on average. -
Four Year Old
This is the beginning of conversational speaking. -
Five Years Old
The child has learned most of the language form in which they were raised. -
Six Years Old
This age ushers in reading and writing as communication forms. -

Adolescence
This is the point at which conversation participation is complete, they are able to tell narratives, knows more than one meaning to a word including figurative language, and uses gender syle when talking.
