people wanted to make kids work because the could get paid less then grownups. -

kids had very bad jobs they had to be careful so they did not lose a finger or arm. -
how they got treated
kids did not get treated very well they got wiped and got beaten for being late. -
what if they did not get paid?
if the kids did not ge paid then they got a place to sleep and something to eat.
