Explorer Vilhjalmur Stefansson traveled to Alaska. He took 100 Eskimo skulls to New York City so scientists and researchers could inspect them to see if there was any signs of tooth decay. There were none. -

The McDonald Brothers fired all of their carhops, and put in larger grills and came up with a faster way of making food.They called this the Speedee Service System, which meant there were no carhops, no waitresses, no dishwashers, and no bus boys. It was self service. -

Ray Kroc met with J.R. Simplot, who was Idaho's great potato baron. he had the idea that McDonalds should switch to using frozen french fries instead of making fresh french fries each time. -

Americans drank 27 gallons of soda in one year. This has increased to 52 gallons a year. That is equal to about 557 12 ounce cans of soda per person in one year. -

He had eaten McDonalds' fries because he though they were vegetarian friendly, but McDonalds told them that the rumors were true, and there was a small amount of meat in their fries. -
