Men are standing on a bridge overlooking the nuclear plant. They speak of flames in all the colors of the rainbow. Sadly, these men receive lethal doses of radiation swept in by the wind. No one survives. -
Day of the Explosion
Immediately, two people die from the blast. The next day, 29 people die. Since then, it is unknown how many people have died. -
Pripyat Evacuation
Citizens take their most important items with them while evacuating. Vehicles are purposely crushed after evacuation to prevent looting. -
Nuclear Radiation
One year after the explosion in Chernobyl, an employee at the power plant dies of nuclear radiation from the previous year in Moscow. -
Today
Today the population of Chernobyl is 690 and in Pripyat is 1. Radiation fumes still linger in the area, genetically modifying the animals for generations to come.
