sonny perdue signed papers to the legislation to have Georgia's flag changed to a new one. Georgia passed the national record of having 3 flags in twenty-seven months. Changed the flag to symbolize Georgia's militia. -

William B. Hartsfield was a man of humble origins and who become one of the greatest mayors of Atlanta. William had served as mayor for a six year term longer than anybody else who had ran.
