Powell is trying to kill Seward
Powell and Herold ride up to the Seward house to get in the Seward house Powell lies and says he has medicine for Seward and only he can give it to him, he tries to attack Seward but is stopped by Seward son, Butler and others who helped save Seward after Herold hears screaming he abandons the mission. Powell escaped and gets a few stabs at Seward. -
Booth escapes the theatre.
After shooting the president in the back of the head Booth Major Rathbone tried to stop Booth but was stabbed as Booth jumped from the box to the stage he called Lincoln a "Tyrant". -
Booth crosses a bridge and is on the run!!
Booth was on the run and had to cross a bridge that had just close and was guarded, he convinced the guard to let him through and the guard didn't know he had shot the president. Harold also convinced the guard shortly after. -
David Herald And John Booth meet.
After a while David Herald catches up to Booth on a dirt rode and tell each other about their accomplishments even though Booth was disappointed that Herald left Powell. -
Abraham Lincoln is cared by doctors at the Peterson house
Abraham is carried to the nearest house where he is surrounded by doctors and accompanied by his wife at this moment Abraham is still alive but his brain is not functioning there is not much the doctors can do. -
Booth and Herold spend the night at Dr. Mudd’s farm.
They arrive at Mudds farm without notice and spend the night and are fed. Dr. Mudd also helps Booths broken leg and they are kicked out of the house and told to leave once Mudd finds out that Booth had shot the president. -
Booth has shot the president!

Atzerodt forfeits his mission of killing Johnson the Vice President.
Atzerodt is at the same hotel as Vice President Johnson and his mission is to assassinate him Atzerodt thinks long and hard about whether he should do it or not he decides not to and simply walks out of the hotel. He is later caught and hung for being one of Booth's conspirators. -
The death of Abraham Lincoln is now in the newspapers.
The word of Abraham Lincoln's death is spreading fast and is now in the newspapers. This is bad for Booth because it also says that Booth is the one that sot Lincoln. -
Mudd orders Booth and Herold to leave his farm immediately.
Mudd heads into town while Booth and Herald are still sleeping and learns that Booth has shot the president and he is at his house! Mudd is very worried because he could get in big trouble if he is caught. Booth trusts Mudd and is glad when he see's that he didn't turn them in. However when Mudd gets home he orders them to leave immediately. -
Booth and Herold hide until night in a pine thicket by Cox’s farm.
Booth And Herald hid in a pine thicket near Cox's farm, Booth asked Cox if he would run into town and go get the newspaper. Booth had been waiting to get his hands on a paper and see what it would say, to his surprise the paper was sad Lincoln died and was calling Booth evil. -
Lewis Powell is captured!
Since Herald had abandoned Powell he was lost. He found Mary Surrats Boarding house, Mary Surrat helped the conspirators and was later captured and hung. Anyway he knocked on the door and to his surprise the house was full of Union Soldiers he lied and said he was Mary's gardener they asked Mary if this was true and she also lied saying she doesn't even know him. -
Atzerodt is captured.
Atzerodt arrives to a dinner party and is asked as a joke if he was the one who killed the president he hesitating and started to act funny. This made the guests suspicions and he didn't know it but he had just sealed his fate. One of the guests reported it and asked the owner of the house if Atzerodt was here he lied and said no, the soldiers said they were going to search anyway the owner finally confesses and tells that he is upstairs. -
$100,000 bounty for Booth ($50,000) Harold ($25,000) Surratt ($25,000)
There is a huge bounty for the three conspirators who are still missing Booth is worth the most for $50,000. These signs are posted in the paper and Bounty hunters and Union solders are rushing to find them. -
Booth and Herold arrive at Virginia.
Booth and Herald arrive to Virginia by raft. Herald meets up with three confederate soldiers who promise to help them because they killed Abraham Lincoln. They take them to Garrets farm. While the Union troops have a strong lead because that is where they think Booth is. -
Booth and Herold arrive at the Garrett's farm.
They arrive at the farm and have dinner with Garrets family. They get suspicions of Booth when they see him ask Garrets son to get his pistol as the Union rides by. Garret insists that Herald and Booth sleep in the Tobacco barn and they somewhat agree. When they fall asleep Garrets locks the door of the tobacco barn and waits outside with his brother both holding guns. -
David Herold surrenders.
The Union finds one of the Confederate soldiers and he tells they are at Garrets farm, they immediately head there and Garrets states they are in the Tobacco barn. They open the door and say that they are here Herold surrenders and then both calls him a coward. -
Booth is shot!!!
After Herold surrenders the Union starts to burn the barn down with no choice Booth stands and limps toward the Union threatening to shoot on instinct Boston Corbet a Union soldier find a crack in the barn and shoots Booth in the neck, at that moment they rush in and pull Booths body out they attempt to keep him alive even though Booth telling them to shoot him shortly after he dies. AND THE CHASE FOR LINCOLN'S KILLER IS OVER!!
