  • Booth shoots Lincoln

    Booth goes into Ford's Theater and shoots Lincoln in the back of the ear. He also gets stabbed.

  • Lincoln Dies

    Lincoln got carried into a home to get treated, but the doctor said he would not make it. Rutherford was pulling blood clots out of the wound.

  • Stanton sent a request to the chief police station asking him to send his best detectives to assist the investigation of the assassination

    The manhunters search Mudd's property, but do not find anything.

  • Lincoln's funeral

    People went to see the dead president on April 19th at his funeral.

  • Atzerodt is arrested

    The soldiers find Atzerodt and arrest him.

  • Booth and Herold wait in the woods

    They waited in the woods for someone to come get them.

  • Booth and Herold leave and set sail

    Booth and Herold set sail, but ended up going further North than the were when they left. They went the wrong way.

  • Booth & Herold Meet the Soldiers and Cross the Rappahannock

    They cross the Rappahannock

  • Lafeyette finds out Booth is in Virginia

    Once Lafayette finds out Booth is in Virginia he searches for him.

  • Cavalry in Virginia

    The cavalry made it to Virginia and search for Booth

  • Booth is shot and killed

    Booth is in the Garrett's barn. The soldiers send in an innocent civilian to get Booth's weapons. It doesn't work. Finally the soldiers set fire to the barn. Boston Corbett watched Booth threw a gap in the barn. The sergeant drew his pistol. He poked his revolver through the gap. He fired. Booth was shot in the neck and eventually died.
