The Land Ordinance of 1785 was a law that created a system for settleing in the Northwest territory. -
Shay's Rebellion
The most defiant sign of the Articles of Confederation's failure was when angry farmers protested and burned down courthouses. -
The Great Compromise
Rodger Sherman proposed to combine the two plans, resulting in the Great Compromise. -
