Life in school (1825 to 1831)
In October of 1825, Charles Darwin enrolled at the University of Edinburgh to study medicine. He soon realized that a career in the medical field did not suit him because the sight of blood made him nauseous. And so, two years later he enrolled at Christ’s College in Cambridge where he studied to be a clergyman while studying his true passion, biology, on the side. https://www.bbc.com/timelines/zq8gcdm https://www.biography.com/scientist/charles-darwin -
