Birth
Charles Darwin was born in a wealthy family in Shrewsbury, England. He was the fifth of six kids. His father was a medical doctor. -
Darwin's voyage
From 1831-1836 Charles Darwin sailed all around the world on the HMS Beagle. HMS Beagle was taking a five year survey trip around the world. Darwin got a position as a naturalist aboard this ship. During the voyage he collected specimen of rocks, fossils, birds, and plants. Darwin kept detailed notes and observations. -
Galapagos Islands
During this voyage Darwin had the opportunity to visit the Galapagos Islands. His experiences and observations here would set the ground work and theory of evolution. -
Life after the Voyage
After returning from the voyage Darwin started writing his findings and eventually published a journal of his trip in 1839. over the next several years Darwin would publish many books on plants, birds and topics pertaining to natural science. During this time he was also refining and collecting evidence to support his theory of evolution. -
Theory of Evolution
After years of studying, experimenting and finalizing his argument Charles Darwin announced his Theory of Evolution. This theory simply is that living species can evolve to the soundings to survive. Those that do not evolve will start to die off this is commonly know as natural selection. This theory was not only revolutionary but also looked bad upon because it goes against the Churches teaching. for more information please watch this video.

Death
