Charles Darwin is Born and shortly discovers his passion for exploration
Charles Darwin was born in England to a Physician, and a Scientist. He never excelled in a normal school environment, and so began his thirst for exploration. After failed attempts at medical, and clergy school, Charles Darwin got an undergraduate degree in Geology in 1831. After that, he set out to pursue his dream to explore. Darwin sets out on his terrific journey
Darwin left England on a voyage around the world on the H.M.S Beagle. He made many discoveries in biology, the most noteworthy being that of the finches in the Galapagos Islands. His theory was that the finches were related with a common ancestor, because they were all similar, but had differences based on their environments. Darwin published "On the Origin of Species"
As a culmination of his research on the H.M.S Beagle, Darwin wrote the book "On the Origin of Species" where he describes the theory of evolution. A modern rendition will serve as a primary source for this timeline. The release of this book is without a doubt, the defining moment of his career as a Biologist, and it changed the course of biology forever. Duzdevich, Daniel., and Olivia. Judson. As mentioned before, On the Origin of Species was a turning point in Biology and was the key moment in Darwin's work. He described many pertinent concepts such as Evolution, Natural Selection, and survival of the fittest in his book. Darwin's Final years
In Darwin's twilight years, he had multiple other theories that were of note. in 1871 he theorized that all humans were indeed of the same race, which was not considered scientific fact before. This was one of many theories after the Origin of Species. He passed away on 19 April 1882.
