Where some of the fossils that he had collected were shared with geologists and paleontologists leading to advancements in the understanding of the processes that shape the Earth's surface. He continued his research on the plants and animals that he brought with him which led him to questioning how species form and change over time.
  • Natural Selection

    Natural Selection
Charles Darwin finally came up with his most famous theory of natural selection. Natural Selection states that individuals of a species will more than likely survive in their environment and pass their genes on to the next generation, when they inherit traits from their bloodline that are best suited for them in that specific environment. This way the traits will become more wide spread and eventually lead to the development of a new species. It was published and was popular and controversial.

Unfortunately like all living species we pass away and Charles Darwin passed away in 1882, he lived to be 73 years of age. Even though his theory of evolution and natural selection have been modified over the year, his research remains fundamental when it comes to studying the natural world. Charles Darwin's impact has forever changed the way that we as a species, see all organisms
